Emotional Freedom Technique

Greetings and salutations fellow Yogis and Yoginis.

Today is World Tapping Summit day and if you came to my class this morning you learned this amazing technique called The Emotional Freedom Technique, or EFT. It is a form of acupressure used primarily to:
  • Remove Negative Emotions
  • Reduce Food Cravings
  • Reduce or Eliminate Pain
  • Implement Positive Goals

After listening, you will feel the relief of receiving another piece of the puzzle to begin to understand mystery/miracle that is the bodymind. (The HOW is below)

EFT is a form of psychological acupressure, based on the same energy meridians (marma points) used in traditional acupuncture to treat physical and emotional ailments for over five thousand years, but without the invasiveness of needles. Instead, simple tapping with the fingertips is used to input kinetic energy onto specific meridians on the head and chest while you think about your specific problem – whether it is a traumatic event, an addiction, pain, etc. — and voice positive affirmations.

This combination of tapping the energy meridians and voicing positive affirmation works to clear the “short-circuit” — the emotional block — from your body’s bioenergy system, thus restoring your mind and body’s balance, which is essential for optimal health and the healing of physical disease.

Check it out on YouTube or come to class tomorrow and learn. I am going to use myself as an experiment and see of I can make the dimples on my butt disappear. (seriously!) I invite you to join me.
